Casa Gatti si trova nelle vicinanze di Selva, piccolissima frazione del paese di Santa Fiora (Grosseto) ai piedi del Monte Amiata. Il borgo medievale di Santa Fiora si trova nella Toscana meridionale, lungo la direttrice Roma-Firenze, ai confini tra le province di Siena e Grosseto. Facile da raggiungere sia da sud che da nord attraverso l'autostrada A1 e le statali Aurelia e Cassia.
Giunti a Santa Fiora proseguite in direzione Castellazzara. Circa 6 Km dopo aver lasciato il paese, presso uno dei tornanti, seguite le indicazioni per il Convento di Selva (Ss. Trinità). Superato il convento, dopo circa 200 metri sulla sinistra trovate la salita "Via del Fosso Serpentaio". Prendete questa salita e, dopo circa 800 metri, sulla destra ... siete arrivati.
Partendo da Roma ci vogliono circa due ore e mezza, da Firenze, due ore; da Siena circa un'ora.

So first of all you must arrive to Santa Fiora, the nearest town which is the main reference to find us. The small medieval town centre of Santa Fiora is on the slopes of Mount Amiata in southern Tuscany, more or less along an immaginary line between Rome and Florence. It is on the border between the provinces of Grosseto and Siena. Easy to reach both from north and south, via the main A1 motorway or, alternately, via either the trunk road Via Cassia (SS2) or Via Aurelia(SS1).
When you arrive at Santa Fiora follow the indications for Castellazzara. About 4 miles (6 Kilometres) after leaving the town, at one of the curves, follow the indications for the Convent of Selva (Ss. Trinità). Approximately 200 yards after the convent, on the left, you'll find "Via del Fosso Serpentaio". Take this steep road and, after about half a mile ... we're on the right!
The journey from Rome takes about two hours and a half; from Florence about two hours; from Siena more-or-less an hour.
